We all have a voice we often underestimate the power it has within.
In this journey we call life, we hit roadblocks that can cause us to lose our voice; that true sense of who we are. This enables us to search for enlightenment and a way to once again center ourselves.
What do I do when seeking enlightenment?
“I simply listen to my voice.”
When seeking enlightenment, it is common to seek guidance outside of yourself; outside of your voice. What we often forget is that seeking guidance outside of yourself, stems from a voice that is not your own.
Your own, unique thoughts speak a thousand powerful words, without you even opening your mouth. Talking out loud is a great way to channel those thoughts from an internal state of mind, to an external form; your voice.
“The most brilliant minds are not afraid to talk to themselves.”
Call it silly, but I like to record my thoughts (my voice). This is an incredible way to release your thoughts rather than overanalyze them, or risk forgetting them. I believe this is an act more powerful, than seeking guidance or enlightenment from another being.
What do I record?
I record myself discussing the wonderment or troubles that fill my mind about the beautiful roller-coast I call life. As a blogger, it might be counter productive (as I end up writing it all down anyways), but I will explain to you the benefits of listening to your voice.
Raise Your Voice
<<<|| Reason ||<<<
No one knows you better than you know yourself, and never forget that. Listening to your voice versus another, provides security in the sense that you will always know what decisions are best for you and how you want to live your life. Think of your voice in comparison to your instincts and your instincts never lie. Listen to them.
<<<|| Routine ||<<<
Allowing yourself to record your thoughts, give you the opportunity to come back and re-evaluate that same thought, but at a different time. When dealing with thoughts, especially thoughts based on emotion, the emotion always wins. They take away our power to think about our thoughts rationally (and logically). If there is a big change that you would like to make in your life, but uncertainty drowns your ambition, record your plan; your ideas. Record your thoughts, have a mimosa (or two), then come back and listen to those thoughts with a clear mind. When training the mind to think in a positive way of thinking, it’s all about repetition and habit.
Record. Drink. Listen. Repeat.

With a clear vision of your thoughts at hand, you are able to react more consciously aware of your mind; your voice. It allows your mind to think outside of the box (outside of its self).
Raise Your Voice. No one can speak your voice but you.
