I can’t think of a better way to start a beautiful Sunday than with endless mimosas on a cruise around the San Diego Bay! Thanks to the Sunday Champagne Brunch Cruise with Flagship Cruises & Events, I could make that happen every Sunday if I wanted to. Care to join?
I was greeted with my favorite, a mimosa as soon as I boarded the ship. Before scoping out the brunch spread, the friends that joined me and I toured the three levels of the boat plus the stunning panoramic views that followed. I have been on Flagship Cruises before but never the Sunday Champagne Brunch Cruise but the view never gets old. The route of the cruise takes you on a tour around the beautiful sights of the follow:
- San Diego skyline
- U.S.S Midway Aircraft Carrier
- Star of India and the Maritime Museum
- North Island Naval Air Station
- Coronado Bay Bridge (the best part)
After a few mimosas and hanging out on the decks, it was time to hit the brunch tables!
As for the spread, there were stations with a variety of breakfast/brunch foods including an omelet station, waffles, french toast, yogurt with granola and pastries. As for classic breakfast foods, there was also an assortment of potatoes, bacon, sausages and ham. For the sweet tooth after brunch, there was a table of wonderful desserts including my favorite which is chocolate dipped strawberries and other sweets that were hard to choose from! Overall, brunch was delicious.
To top off the experience, there was live music thanks to the amazing vocalist Celeste Barbier. She sang all of the classic holiday songs amongst the beautiful decorations Flagship has set up for the season. It was a nice touch to an amazing afternoon. A special thank you to Flagship Cruises & Events for hosting us for a wonderful afternoon enjoying the trip around the bay with a delicious brunch and of course, the endless mimosas!
